Sub-Saharan Africa Agribusiness Reverse Trade Mission

Dates: August 18-28, 2013

Locations: Omaha, NE; Fargo, ND; Jackson, MN; Ames, IA

United States Trade and Development Agency is sponsoring a Reverse Trade Mission (RTM) to the United States for a delegation of senior representatives from sub-Saharan Africa’s agribusiness sector, including key decision makers from leading agribusinesses and government entities in Kenya, South Africa, Botswana, Nigeria, Zambia, and other markets.

The visit is designed to introduce delegates to U.S. companies that provide equipment and services for large scale agribusiness projects and to showcase state of the art U.S. agribusiness technologies and facilities. The RTM will also provide an opportunity for delegates to discuss upcoming agribusiness projects in sub-Saharan Africa with interested U.S. firms and agencies.

A Business Briefing will be held in Fargo, ND on August 22, to introduce the delegates to a variety of U.S. companies active in the industry.

For more information about participating in the upcoming RTM and to discuss sponsorship opportunities, please contact Frank Naylor of The Peoples Group by telephone: (540) 668-6684 or by email: fwnaylor@thepeoplesgroup.net.
