Connecting Business with Opportunity is the theme of the 2014 National MED Week Conference on July 31-August 1 in Washington D.C.  This year’s event introduces an all new B2B Best! matchmaker and expo that will engage, educate, and connect conference attendees.

The highly anticipated business-to-business matchmaker removes barriers and makes the National MED Week conference a “one stop shop” to identify contract opportunities.

“Traditionally, the B2B matchmaker is able to identify billions of dollars’ worth of contract opportunities in the federal – state and local – and commercial marketplace,” said Angela Washington, MBDA business development specialist. “It’s also a venue where minority businesses build relationships with prime government contractors and collaborate with other minority firms to win contracts.”

The conference team will match compatible suppliers and buyers and will confirm one-on-one schedules prior to the event.  “The matchmaking session is also intended for buyers to identify buying trends and get ahead of opportunities to meet highly capable minority firms with a proven track record in the commercial and federal marketplace,” Washington said.

Buyers will represent a broad range of industries and minority-owned firms are encouraged to attend and gain insight on prospective partnerships and opportunities.  It is not too late to register!  Learn more at http://medweek.mbda.gov.
