City of FresnoFresno MBDA Business Center assisting MBE’s grow in Central Valley

The MBDA Fresno Business Center opened in September 2012, and is teaming with San Jose MBDA Business Center to serve the Central Valley of California. These centers are operated by Asian, Inc. The Fresno MBDA Business Center is working with regional SBA, HUD and city governments to provide outreach to MBE’s in the Central Valley.

The Fresno Business Center is working with the California High Speed Rail Authority - Office of Small Business to reach capable MBE’s, Native American, and Disabled Veterans for contracting opportunities.  In addition the Fresno Center is teaming with U.S. Senator Barbara Boxer and U.S. Congressman Jim Costa to promote contracts to MBE’s, Native American Small Businesses and Disabled Veteran business owners.

California High-Speed Rail

California high-speed rail will connect the mega-regions of the state, contribute to economic development and a cleaner environment, create jobs and preserve agricultural and protected lands.

» Free Small Business Certification Workshop - June 7, June 13, and June 19, 2013

The California High-Speed Rail Authority and its resource partners are hosting small business certification workshops at no cost to small businesses. The workshops will provide hands-on technical assistance for on-the-spot online certification from the California Department of General Services.
