About this Center
The MBDA Business Center located in Riverside, CA is operated by the So Cal Corporate Growth Partners. The center is part of a national network of funded centers located in major cities throughout the United States. The center works with minority business enterprises to generate increased financing and contract opportunities and to create and retain jobs.
The Vision of So Cal Corporate Growth Partners is to create hope and empowerment for businesses (primarily minority owned businesses) by assessing their past benchmarks for restrictions, failures and successes; then making necessary changes for future prosperity and sustainability.
The Mission of So Cal Corporate Growth Partners is to actively support and strengthen businesses and their communities by acting as an established and trusted conduit to educational, civic, business, financial and global partners.

Performance Overview
In FY2011 MBDA helped California minority businesses to win 128 contracts totaling $167,304,277, and obtain $82,763,309 in capital through 45 financial transactions.
For clients with gross annual revenues of $500,000 or more, California completed a total of 152 transactions for $224,241,118. For businesses with annual gross revenues below $500,000, California completed 21 transactions totaling $25,826,468. MBDA’s California clients created 824 new jobs in FY2011.

Business Service Criteria
The Riverside Business Center offers services to MBEs owned and controlled by:

US citizens or resident aliens admitted for lawful admission to the United States and that

Fall into specific ethnic minority groups: African Americans, Hispanic Americans, Asian and Pacific Islander Americans, Native Americans (including Alaska Natives, Alaska Native Corporations and Tribal entities), Asian Indian Americans and Hasidic Jewish Americans. See 15 CFR § 1400.1-.2 and Executive Order 11625.

Although the Riverside Business Center can offer services to all MBE firms, target clients include eligible MBE firms with one or both of the following characteristics:

Annual revenues of over $1,000,000 or

On track for rapid growth, with the capability of generating significant employment and long term economic growth.
The Center will provide enhanced access to vetted, highly capable and competitive MBEs, which will help drive the buyer’s business through competitive pricing, innovation and quality goods and services. The Center will also provide strategic advice on supplier diversity programs to help make buyers more effective and efficient in meeting its goals.
Executive Management Team
Our management team is comprised of people with many years of experience in various business industries. They have held prior roles as CEO’s, CFO’s, entrepreneurs and corporate executives.
Our philosophy is simple, "focused on the customer’s needs." We have four Directors and an Administrator reporting to the President & CEO. We consult with clients on a variety of business issues. Our team has extensive experience in the global market, forming long term partnerships, building strong business relationships, bringing together right minds and right people to deliver high value solutions to major industry segments.
