About this Center
The MBDA Business Center located in Santa Fe, NM is operated by the American Indian Chamber of Commerce of New Mexico. The center is part of a national network of funded centers located in major cities throughout the United States. The Santa Fe MBDA Business Center will provide minority entrepreneurs and businesses with the expertise and tools they need to compete globally and create good paying jobs in America.

Executive Director: Ted Pedro
Staff Information
Mr. Theodore M. Pedro is currently the Project Director for the MBDA Business Center Santa Fe - American Indian and Alaska Native Program. Mr. Pedro is from the Pueblo of Laguna and brings a bachelor’s degree in business management and a wealth of experience in economic, business and community development. He has worked with Indian communities, federal, state, public and local agencies for over 25 years.
Mr. Pedro has had the honor of serving on boards and committees for Laguna Industries, Inc. Cochiti Community Development Corporation, Jemez Community Development Corporation, TIWA Lending Services, Laguna Community Foundation and the Jicarilla Apache Nation Economic Commission. In addition, he has been on the Small Business Administration Albuquerque Advisory Council, New Mexico Indian Economic Development Committee, Advisory Committee of the Albuquerque Capital Development Program, New Mexico Marketing team and the New Mexico Community Economic Development Institute.
