About this Center

Washington Performance-At-A-GlanceThe MBDA Business Center located in Seattle, Washington is operated by the Seattle Business Assistance Center. The center is part of a national network of funded centers located in major cities throughout the United States. The center works with minority business enterprises to generate increased financing and contract opportunities and to create and retain jobs.

The program’s objective is to provide ongoing, quality assistance to minority businesses with rapid growth potential, so that they can achieve greater participation in the development of the nation’s commerce.

MBDA Business Center Consultants offer professional expertise in all enterprise disciplines, including management, marketing, finance, accounting, and other business areas, and are available to counsel eligible minority businesses throughout the Pacific Northwest and beyond.

Staff Information

Felix Ngoussou, Project Director

As project director of the Seattle MBDA Business Center, Felix Ngoussou brings 15 years of continued effort toward improving opportunities for minority business enterprises by assisting them with their socioeconomic programs certifications, source selections, access to diverse sources of funding, contracts, procurements, and markets. Mr. Ngoussou speaks French, English, Arabic and several major African dialects. He is a member of a Rotary Club and member of Portland International Center for Management of Engineering and Technology.

Prior to his current position as project director of Seattle MBDA Business Center, Mr. Ngoussou served as director of the King County Procurement Technical Assistance Center and Supplier Diversity Specialist  and SBIR/STTR Business & Strategic Alliances for Boeing Defense and Space.

Mr. Ngoussou came to the U.S. as a refugee from Republic of Chad. After receiving his bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Chad in 1992, he completed a master’s degree in aerospace engineering at the French National School of Engineering in Toulouse, France (1996).  Mr. Ngoussou eventually settled in North Virginia where he completed his Master of Science in Technology Management  followed by an MBA in Finance from Portland State University.
