BART Silicon Valley Berryessa Extension Project B2B Matchmaking
On behalf of the Joint Venture Skanska/Shimmick/Herzog (SSH JV), we would like to invite you to participate in a FREE B2B matchmaking session for the BART Silicon Valley Berryessa Extension Project. The Berryessa Extension consists of the design, construction, and future operation of an approximate 10-mile extension of the BART system into Santa Clara County.
The Berryessa Extension will connect to the track south of the BART Warm Springs Station in Fremont, and includes a retained-cut passenger station in Milpitas (Milpitas Station) and an above-ground passenger terminus station in San Jose (Berryessa Station). The project is approximately $772 million and is estimated to be of four year duration. We are working directly with the SSH JV general contractor to identify prospective and qualified subcontractors, suppliers and professional services for the following categories (but not limited to):
Reinforcing Bar, Concrete (form/place/finish, pumping, flatwork),
Concrete Masonry Units (CMU),
Architectural Features (Glass, Stairs, Handrails, Drywall, Paint, Acoustical Ceilings, Ceramic Tile, Flooring, Roofing),
Painting, QC Lab Work, Fuel, SWPPP, Small Tools & Safety Supplies, Monitoring (Dust/Noise/Vibration),
Landscaping, Paving, Utility Relocation, Trucking, Office Supplies, Janitorial
Additionally, we are also working with Aldridge/Rosendin Joint Venture to identify qualified and/or DBE certified subcontractors in the electrical trade.
We will be hosting a B2B matchmaking event for subcontracting opportunities on Thursday June 28th in Downtown San Jose, where you will have the opportunity to meet the project managers and buyers from the SSH JV and Aldridge/Rosendin JV for a one-on-one B2B session for the prospective trades. There will also be a bonding and financial assistance workshop to help qualified firms prepared for contracting opportunities.
There is no charge to attend this event, and light refreshment will be provided. However, due to the expected large participation, the session will be assigned on a first-come-first-serve basis. If you would like to participate in this event, please register promptly to secure your seat by clicking on the RSVP below and submit your registration: http://www.rsvpbook.com/BARTBerryessaExtension
