Brief description of call: This webinar will provide an in-depth look at Latvia’s National Industrial Plan and the Latvian government’s efforts to increase manufacturing and industrial production. U.S. Ambassador to Latvia Mark Pekala and Minister of Economy Daniels Pavļuts will offer their views on opportunities for U.S. companies to take advantage of Latvia’s industrialization plan. As the chief architect of the National Industrial Plan, Minister Pavļuts will provide detailed information on the Latvian government’s goals and the incentives available for foreign companies. Participants will have the opportunity to pose questions directly to Ambassador Pekala and his guests during the Q&A portion of the call. Future events will focus on business and export opportunities in other sectors, including woodworking, tourism, and investment opportunities.
