Mid America Government Industry Coalition (MAGIC) Seminar in Oklahoma planned for April on SCA & DB Acts for federal contractors and subcontractors.

Health care reform is quickly becoming old news, certain provisions are currently being implemented and more will become effective in the not so distant future.  Government contractors are not exempt from these new requirements.

  • Industry sources say that survey results show a significant drop in the overall fringe benefit rate among government contractors.  The average rate dropped almost 4 percent in 2011.

  • At the same time, the Department of Labor is increasing the amount of audit and oversight of government contractors, looking for Service Contract Act violations and other infractions.
