Access to Markets
The MBDA Access to Markets Program is responsible for enabling greater access to procurement opportunities for MBDA minority-owned business clients. This unit within the Office of Business Development identifies and disseminates procurement opportunities, develops and implements business-to-business forums and other business matching events, and coordinates business development activities with MBDA’s five regional offices.

Leadership: MBDA anticipates successful candidate(s) will participate as a team member and work closely with the National Business Development Specialist. He/she will have program support duties.
Position Description:
This fellowship position supports the work of the Office of Business Development, Access to Market Program.
Work Assignments:

Support the identification and dissemination of procurement opportunities for minority businesses.

Support the identification of minority-owned businesses which have the size, capacity and scope to bid specific procurement opportunities. Including updating of MBE databases

Support the coordination of business development activities with MBDA’s five regional offices.

Support the development of MBDA’s National Conference.

Support the development and implementation of business-to-business forums and other business matching activities.

Provide support to the Office of Business Development as needed.
Skills Required:
This project requires an individual with knowledge and interest in entrepreneurship and business development, attention to detail, and proficiency in Excel and Word formats. Business, Operations Management, Economics background is a plus.
