The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Office of the Secretary (OS), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU) is hosting several community outreach events for small businesses. The OSDBU serves as advocates for small businesses by providing guidance, education, and support to internal and external stakeholders to maximize opportunity while maintaining accountability. The OSDBU provides information to businesses interested in doing business with the Federal Government.
The community outreach event is directed at small businesses to educate them on the govcon industry and provide information to 1) become familiar with processes and procedures associated with federal government contracting; and 2) identify and pursue contract opportunities with HHS. The objective of these outreach events is to engage, equip, and inform the small business participants of the federal procurement process so that they become more effective in pursuing contracting opportunities at HHS. This outreach event will be a full day of workshops and matchmaking/counseling.
