U.S.-Panama FTA Benefits:

In addition to the ongoing $5.25 billion Panama Canal expansion program, the Government of Panama has identified almost $10 billion in other infrastructure projects.

In 2012 US exports to Panama jumped 20% to $9.9 billion; and in 2011 US exports to Panama jumped 36% to $8.25 billion, making it one of the fastest growing markets for US exports in the world.
