Mr. Ronald Marin serves as the MBDA Chief Financial Officer, where he leads the Office of Financial Management, Performance, and Program Evaluation. Mr. Marin joined MBDA in April of 2004 and he reports to the Associate Director for Management.
Mr. Marin’s work experience includes various positions within the Department of Commerce, Office of the Secretary, Office of Budget where he was responsible for budget formulation reviews of various bureaus including Census, ITA, and MBDA. Mr. Marin was also responsible for the implementation of the Government Performance and Results Act across the Department for all bureaus while integrating budgeting with performance planning and reporting.
He has also worked at NOAA – National Weather Service, the Department of Education, the Department of Veterans Affairs, and the Department of the Treasury – Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms. Mr. Marin has almost twenty-five years of Federal budgeting experience reflecting a wide range of financial and administrative management responsibilities.
He is from San Antonio, Texas, has a Masters of Public Administration from the Maxwell School at Syracuse University, and a B.A. in Government and Latin American Studies from the University of Texas at Austin. He lives in Virginia and is married with two children.
