MBDA NextInTech Inspiring Entrepreneurship through Innovation

MBDA will celebrate Minority Enterprise Development (MED) Week on October 14-20, 2018 with a series of signature sessions, workshops, a government-to-business (G2B) matchmaking event, and an awards ceremony. This year, MBDA has planned a new event focused on the next generation of innovative entrepreneurs—college students at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs).

On October 18, 2018, MBDA will host an event titled #NextInTech: Inspiring Entrepreneurship through Innovation with Huston-Tillotson University (HTU) in Austin, Texas. The program is a collaboration between MBDA, USPTO, and Huston-Tillotson University’s Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation with engagement from local Austin minority chambers of commerce.  The program is designed to expose the business students of HTU to minority business owners and emerging business and technology industries, and to provide an opportunity to showcase student business proposals and enterprise acumen.
