Nominations are now being accepted for Ex-Im Bank’s 2015 Advisory Committee. The Congressionally-established Advisory Committee holds quarterly meetings in which its primary task is to advise the Bank concerning its policy and programs, in particular on the extent to which the Bank is meeting its mandate to provide competitive financing to expand United States exports, and any suggestions for improvement in this regard. It is anticipated that the first meeting of the Advisory Committee will be held in December 2014.
The nomination period has been extended to Friday, November 14, 2014, at 5:00pm ET.
Any validators of potential nominees may submit a letter stating reasons why a particular candidate should be considered for the Advisory Committee. Self-nominations are permitted. All nomination forms must be completed and signed by all candidates.
The Advisory Committee consists of 17 members who will be appointed by the Board of Directors on the recommendation of the President of the Bank.
