This year, the United States is the premier partner country for Hannover Messe 2016, the world's largest trade fair for industrial technology scheduled for April 25th – 29th in Hannover, Germany.  The U.S. Department of Commerce has the privilege of spearheading our Country’s participation on this global stage and we are very excited about the opportunity to promote one of this Nation’s greatest assets—minority business enterprises (MBEs).

The Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA), along with other federal agencies, state economic development organizations and universities, will join top business leaders from around the world for Hannover Messe, and we invite you to be a part of the MBDA delegation.  MBDA is assembling a group of minority business owners and stakeholders to demonstrate not only the value of MBE products and services, but also opportunities to advance transatlantic trade and access to U.S. markets through collaboration with minority businesses.

Hannover Messe will highlight innovations and groundbreaking solutions in several core industry sectors, including industrial automation and information technology; energy and environmental technology; industrial supply; production engineering and services; and research and development.    With forums, conferences, special events, and exhibits from more than 5,000 companies that span 70 countries, this leading international showplace for industrial technologies is an ideal platform to promote the capabilities of U.S. minority business enterprises.

If you are interested in joining MBDA at Hannover Messe in Germany, please respond by February 23rd so that we can provide additional details and keep you informed of events and opportunities as they develop.  To respond to this invitation and for additional information about this unprecedented opportunity, please contact Gabriela Morales at gmorales@mbda.gov. For more information on Hannover Messe, visit:  http://www.export.gov/hannovermesse/ and http://www.hannovermesse.de/home

Thank you for your support of MBDA and the minority business community. I hope to see you at Hannover Messe, in April.
