The Royster Group, a leader in executive search and professional staffing for private industry and government healthcare providers was founded in 2001 by Ken Taunton, who is committed to offering a full complement of creative solutions to client human capital needs from permanent placement to contract staffing. In 2006, The Royster Group partnered with other small and large businesses to expand into the public sector and began staffing Federal and state government medical treatment facilities with highly qualified healthcare providers.
The Royster Group sought assistance from the Atlanta MBDA Business Center to increase its presence in the market, secure more contracts, and secure the financing needed to do so. Project Director Donna Ennis began by immediately recommending and providing strategic planning & implementation assistance and one-on-one coaching, along with recommendations for CEO training & development. The Center did not stop there and also helped with editing proposals and award nominations to the help the Royster Group achieve its goals.
Since becoming an MBDA client three years ago, The Royster Group has achieved a 278 percent increase in revenue (from $2.3 million $8.7 million) and is now ranked #1927 on the 2013 Inc. 500|5000 list of the nation’s fastest growing private companies.
