
From asset management to foreign affairs, Carrie Lee has innovated through some of the greatest challenges of the global economy in the last 20 years. Named Most Influential Female Seed Investor of 2021 by Acquisition International, Ms. Lee practiced international infrastructure finance law at White & Case LLP before founding Pine Street Alternative Asset Management, an award-winning hedge fund seeding platform lauded for its inclusion investing on behalf of institutional investors and public pension funds. Pine Street launched numerous next-generation women and BIPOC fund managers and their funds through bold growth strategies and cutting-edge development tools.
On the ground, Ms. Lee spearheads multiple humanitarian projects ranging from building schools and medical clinics in the Himalayas, to establishing an overseas post-graduate fellowship that incubates social impact businesses in underserved communities. She serves as a senior advisor to leading think tank The Atlantic Council's Scowcroft Center for Strategy and Security, developing non-partisan strategies to address cross-border challenges facing the United States.
