About This Center
The Colorado MBDA Business Center, located in Denver, is operated by the Mountain Plains Minority Supplier Development Council, which provides corporate America and government entities with greater access to the goods and services of minority-owned business in order to develop lasting and mutually-beneficial business relationships. As an affiliate regional council of the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC), MPMSDC provides a direct link between corporate America and Asian-, Black-, Hispanic- and Native American-owned businesses.
The Denver MBDA Business Center provides strategic business consulting services to minority-owned business enterprises (MBEs) with $500,000 or more in annual revenue. Our Center helps those businesses secure opportunities and provide access to resources, generate employment, promote long-term economic growth and stimulate expansion.
Our Center specifically assists MBEs in the areas of:
- Marketing; and
- Government and Corporate Contracting Opportunities.
Program Director | Andra Hargrave
Hargrave has more than 15 years of direct national and international sales channel development in the areas of government procurement and Fortune 500 level business development. His marketing channel development experience lies in a variety of industries, including technology-oriented manufacturing, service industries and distribution. Hargrave possesses an in-depth knowledge of state and federal set-aside procurement programs, such as SDB, HUB and the 8a Business Development Program, among others. He has served as the director of certification for the RMMSDC and currently serves as the statewide veteran’s consultant for the Colorado SBDC Network. His comprehension of federally-backed procurements, grants and certification programs, such as advanced technology and SBIR/STTR, is without equal.
