The Veteran-Owned Business of the Year is IMR Development Corp. Established in 2009, IMR is a service-disabled veteran-owned company that was formed to serve a niche market for smaller businesses in the construction management and infrastructure sectors.
Initially focusing heavily on the construction and inspection services, IMR has expanded the company to include a Trenchless Division that offers specialty services in No Dig Trenchless Construction, new trenchless technology that allows for the installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of buried infrastructure without excavation.
Since opening its doors, IMR’s income has increased from $500,000, to a consistent $3 million in the past several years. With the addition of the company’s expanded services, IMR projects their revenue will increase to more $5 million by the end fiscal year 2019.
