2017 Minority Export Firm of the Year

Minority Export Firm of the Year is presented to Natural Vitamins Laboratory. NVL is an industry leading manufacturer of health and wellness solutions – providing custom manufacturing and private labeling of vitamins, dietary supplements, nutraceuticals, sports nutrition, and nutritional supplements. From a kitchen table concept 25 years ago, NVL now operates from a 95,000-sq. ft. facility equipped with fully automated packaging and the ability to execute anything from small research and development pilot runs to large series and independent laboratory testing for final products. NVL has successfully produced hundreds of top selling products currently distributed through mass distribution chains and e-commerce sites that serve domestic and international customers, including Columbia, Argentina, Brazil, Costa Rica, Venezuela, Dominican Republic, Mexico, UAE, Luxemburg, and India. As one of the fastest growing manufacturers in the industry, NVL is poised to target additional global markets, hire 25-30 additional employees in the short-term, and up to 75 over the next three years.

Two Indian-American businessmen honored by Trump
President Donald Trump has honored two Indian-American businessmen, Sharad Thakkar and Karan Arora, in recognition of their small but significant contribution to the United States economy, according to the PTI. Thakkar and Arora were honored along with seven other minority businesses owners in the Oval Office of the White House on Tuesday, where Trump congratulated them and said he is “proud of” minority businesses and their contributions in creating jobs in the country, adding that his administration is deeply committed to empowering minority business owners and told PTI, “we’re working to lift government barriers so that you can thrive, prosper, and grow.”
